KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. turned out to be a big winner at this year’s BLI Summer Pick awards. BLI is a leading independent provider of product intelligence for the imaging industry. Danielle Wolowitz, Vice Presdient of the Corporate Marketing Division for KYOCERA Document Solutions America stated “Our goal is to be best-in-class in every aspect of product design and reliability, and these awards are further validation.” In the business printer category, reliability is consistently ranked among the most important factors and a great competition differentiator.
The KYOCERA TASKalfa 406ci, took home the award for Outstanding Color MFP in the Mid-Size to Large Workgroup category. This device was just introduced five months ago and it has already been awarded numerous industry honors, including BLI’s Highly Recommended award. The 406ci offers the full functionality of a large console in a more compact design and operates at a much lower cost.
The other big winners are KYOCERA’s ECOSYS P6130cdn and ECOSYS M6535cidn. Both received Certificate of Reliability and Highly Recommended awards, BLI’S strongest endorsement. Over a two month period, BLI has put each of these KYOCERA devices through an intense 50,000 impression test, including running both devices at their maximum duty cycles.
KYOCERA was also awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Innovation award for their eco-friendly waste toner design in the new A3 models. The BLI analysts were impressed by the waste toner container design which will help reduce waste, downtime and service costs.
