As of May 30th, Google’s Gmail is updating its security protocols and will no longer allow a Less Secure app option. In the past, this is the setting that KYOCERA/Copystar devices required for scanning using Gmail.
Going forward, App/Device passwords after enabling two-factor authentication will be required to successfully scan to email using a Gmail account.
Please Note: this update will not impact customers using Office365 or scanning to folder.
